Parish Safeguarding Support Officer

Our volunteer Parish Safeguarding Support Officer( PSSO) is Sharon Waller, who will support the Parish Priest in providing staff, volunteers and parishioners within the parish community a greater understanding of what safeguarding means and how it can be implemented within the parish.

The PSSO will receive ongoing support and
training and will assist the Parish Priest to implement safeguarding policies
and protocols as well as providing training to parish staff and volunteers.

It is not the role of a PSSO to be dealing with any complaints; all complaints need to be referred to either the Parish Priest or the Safeguarding Office.
